Fears & Phobias

A phobia is an overwhelming irrational fear of an object, animal, place, situation or feeling.

If you have a phobia you likely know that your fear is exaggerated to the reality of the threat but knowing this often makes it harder to accept.

Most of the time people are able to manage their phobias by avoiding the object or situation but when the phobia becomes so irrational and intense it begins to have a significant impact on your daily life or a situation arises that forces you to face it.

People are also aware of unconsciously passing their phobias to their children who learn from their behaviour.

The phobias I can treat include

  • Fear of public speaking

  • Fear of flying

  • Fear of spiders

  • Fear of heights

  • Fear of driving

  • Fear of cats/dogs

  • Fear of needles

  • Claustrophobia

Phobias are a learned behaviour or a direct cause of trauma.

I work with your subconscious mind to find the root of where your phobia comes from. Once we identify this, hypnotherapy works very effectively in putting direct suggestions into your subconscious to allow you to feel calm, at ease and in control.
